The “Boom Clap” singer, 32, attended Diversity‘s Hitmakers Brunch on Saturday, December 7, in Los Angeles, wearing an all-over sheer olive dress. The Grecian-style sleeveless dress was reinforced at the midsection but otherwise fell loosely towards the ground.
The star wore her long dark hair in soft waves and completed her look with a large diamond ring and a flawless red mane.

The singer-songwriter also spoke at the event, which brought together music industry insiders to honor the teams behind the biggest albums of the year. During her speech, the “Boys” artist mentioned that the word “hit” is a subjective term.
She then proceeded to remind fellow attendees that the Velvet Underground’s now-iconic debut album sold just 30,000 copies during its initial release in 1967.

“This record is one of the most influential and revolutionary records of our time,” she told the audience Diversitywhile he marveled at the lack of initial success. “It is the pinnacle of beautiful art and dirty culture, the clash of high and low, poetry meets drugs, serious and arrogant.”

Charli also reminded the audience that even the album cover — a banana peel by legendary artist Andy Warhol — was not appreciated at the time. She then joked that while her album cover has yet to be unveiled at the “Guggenheim or the Whitney,” she has merchandise at Urban Outfitters.

“Well I guess that means I’m halfway there,” she joked.
The pop star recently made headlines for receiving multiple Grammy nominations for her latest album, Bratwhich fell in June. After its release, the hit album took on even more life when it became the unofficial mantra for Vice President Kamala Harris’ 2024 presidential campaign.

The star-studded brunch was also attended by Lana Del Rey, who presented music producer Jack Antonoff with the Producer of the Decade award.
“You’re going to be richer than all of us with your 50% on everything,” the “Video Games” singer joked, before Antonoff took the stage to accept his award.
Other attendees included Olivia Rodrigo, actress Rachel Sennott and industry newcomer Shaboozey, along with several hundred songwriters, producers, label executives and music lawyers.
