Charli xcx is all about transparency.
As part of her “What Have They Had?” series on Instagram, cosmetic injector Molly Bailey (known on the platform as @baileysbotox) posted a post speculating about what procedures the British musician may have had.
The Brat the singer, who turned 32 earlier this month, commented on the before and after comparison, writing: “Oh I’m obsessed with this shit.”
In the Aug. 1 post, Bailey shows a photo of Charli from 2013, when she was about 21, and a more recent photo. He suggests that Charli had brow lifts, lip fillers, botox and possibly rhinoplasty earlier in her life.
“What seems to be the most noticeable change is her raised eyebrows and extra space on her upper eyelid,” says the injection person in the caption. “Probably the result of the endoscopic ponytail lift popular with young Hollywood, upper blepharoplasty, or less invasive brow threads plus a tox brow lift. It gives her that cat-eye effect that is so Julia.”

He continues, “Other than that, her surgical work generally seems limited, with possible rhinoplasty at an early age (pre-rhinoceros not pictured). The brat aesthetic wouldn’t be complete without a little lip filler for contouring and hydration.”

On Saturday, August 11, Bailey confirmed Charli XCX’s response in a follow-up Instagram post.

“The brat queen has spoken 🙌,” she wrote in the description. “Brats are breaking the stigma of beauty treatments and we’re here for it. As Charli XCX herself said, brats are ‘…honest, open and a little fickle’. She clearly leads by example. Brat aesthetics do what makes you happy and confident and don’t care what others think.”
The “Boom Clap” singer previously hinted that she had Botox in a TikTok video from January 2023. In the clip, the singer joked that she wanted to get more nominations for music awards in the coming year.
“I need more botox before accepting any awards,” she captioned the post.
After the June release of her sixth studio album BratCharli celebrated her birthday with a star-studded party in Los Angeles. The guests were Glen Powell, Lorde and Billie Eilish.
