Chase Chrisley Is ‘Extremely Proud’ of Savannah’s Fight for Their Parents: ‘You Are That B—-‘

Chase Chrisley gives all the praise to his sister Savannah Chrisley.

On Tuesday’s episode of Savannah’s Unlocked podcast, the siblings were candid as they discussed the impact on their family of their parents Todd and Julie being incarcerated for fraud, tax evasion and conspiracy. But Chase, 27, took the moment to praise Savannah’s ability to thrive, not only as a carer for their two younger siblings, but also to join the fight for her parents’ freedom.

“I’m extremely proud of you,” he shared with his younger sister. “The strength you had and showed and the example you set for Grayson and Chloe – it’s very admirable.”

Chase continued, “I couldn’t be more proud of you. He is extraordinary.”

“It’s hard,” Savannah, 26, admitted, prompting her brother to add, “But you’ve shown, through this whole thing, that you’re that bitch.”

“Well, that’s true. It’s true, because I just won’t give up. I just didn’t,” said Savannah, who has taken custody of her younger brother Grayson, 17, and sister Chloe, 11.

Savannah then offered some insight into how she’s been navigating her newfound role as a single parent since her parents went to prison last January.

“At the end of the day, I’m going to stand up for what’s right. I will lose fans along the way, I will lose friends along the way, I will lose people. And that’s okay,” she continued. “My point of view is that it’s really hard to stand up for what’s right. It’s almost impossible. And many people find it hard to find the courage to do it because they are afraid of what they will lose. And guess what? I know I can sleep better at night because I know I’m standing up for what’s right.”

Savannah previously said being a “bonus parent” to Grayson and Chloe is “tough,” but she’s embracing it.

“I’m not their mom. I’m not their dad. I’m their sister and I love them and guide them through life,” she wrote on Instagram over the summer. “No one could ever live up to their parents.”

In October, Savannah opened up to PEOPLE about how she’s been coping with her recent life changes, saying, “Me and Chase come to them every day, and I’m the [of my siblings] who is in charge of all their legal affairs.”

“I talk to lawyers every day. I make sure they have what they need while they’re in prison and I show up for them,” she continued.

After being acquitted of state tax evasion charges in Georgia, Todd and Julie filed legal action in October 2019 against the Waites for “specifically targeting” the famous family in their state tax evasion allegation.
