What can we expect from Chicago Fire Season 11?

While details about the upcoming season are being kept under wraps, executive producer Derek Haas told ET Online:

“Season 11 starts at breakneck speed, starting right where we left off with Severide and Kidd last season – and the show doesn’t slow down for an hour at all. Let’s say it’s pretty hot. Starting from the first second.”

Season 11 is full of unsolved mysteries, starting with who visited Severide and Kidd on their honeymoon. The season 10 finale, titled The Magnificent City of Chicago, ended with drama as the couple celebrated their wedding on the one hand, while on the other hand, someone from Severide’s past visited them. Someone connected to the drug dealer who sent Severide to the hospital is a good theory. When Severide appeared in court to testify against his attacker, one of the house’s men tried to subdue him. A battle broke out, and an unnamed person was killed.

In addition, it remains to be seen how the love relationship between Matthew Casey and Sylvia Brett will develop. Both characters reappear in the eleventh episode. While Brett was enjoying a break from her long-distance relationship with Casey, Casey made a life-changing decision to leave Firehouse 51 and go to Oregon to care for the Darden boys. Brett and Casey talked about their future plans during the Season 10 finale, though it’s unclear if they’ll ever mend their relationship. Meanwhile, the love affair between Blake Gallo and Violet Mikami may be developing after the two were caught sneaking around at Severide and Kidd’s wedding.
