Chirag Kotwal was born in 2001 in Bhaderwah, Jammu and Kashmir (22 years old; as of 2023). He attended BSF High School, Jammu. He received his Bachelor of Engineering degree from Veermata Jijabai Institute of Technology (VJIT), Mumbai, Maharashtra. He received his singing training at the Ajvasan Music Academy in Mumbai.
