In 2014, the two divorced due to misunderstanding. Singer has custody of his son.

Chitrangada Singh started her modeling career in 1994. She has modeled for brands like ICICI Bank and Alukkas Jewelery. Singh gained recognition after appearing in the music video of Gulzar’s video song “Sunset Point”. Next, she starred in a few more music videos. In 2003, film director Sudhir Mishra spotted her in the music video of the popular song “Koi Lauta De Woh Pyare Pyare Din” and invited her to audition for his film “Hazaaron Khawahishhein Aisi” , she passed the test with ease and her performance in the film was well received by audiences and critics alike.
She then starred in the film Kal: Yesterday and Tomorrow. She then took a break from her acting career. In 2008, she returned to Bollywood by playing the role of “Aaliya” in the romantic comedy “Sorry Bhai”. Some of her hit movies include Desi Boyz, Anjaan, Gabbar Is Back, Munna Michael and Baazaar.
