Chris Evans and his new bride Alba Baptista partied at his home in Boston to celebrate their wedding.
After the wedding of the newlyweds on Saturday, Captain America: The First Avenger the star (42) and his wife (26) continued the fun with their loved ones.
A source told PEOPLE that “a big tent and a dance floor were set up in the house,” and music was being played the night of Sept. 9. John Krasinski and Emily Blunt were spotted after partying at their hotel in Boston. “They were very happy, joking and smiling”, says the observer.
The wedding weekend included a gathering at a private estate in Cape Cod, sources confirmed to PEOPLE.

A-listers spotted in Boston over the weekend include grooms the Avengers actor Robert Downey Jr. with wife Susan Downey. The two dined at Puritan & Company in nearby Cambridge, Massachusetts on Sunday, along with Scarlett Johansson and husband Colin Jost.
Chris Hemsworth, his wife Elsa Pataky and Jeremy Renner were also among the celebrities spotted in town.

In November 2022, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that Evans and Baptista were officially in a relationship. At the time, a source said the two had been dating “for over a year and it’s serious.”
“They are in love and Chris has never been happier,” added the insider. “His family and friends adore her.”
“It’s absolutely something I want: a wife, kids, building a family,” Evans told PEOPLE shortly before news of his relationship broke. “When you read about most of the best artists, whether it’s actors, painters, writers, most of them [admit] it was not a job they did [that they are most proud of], it was about relationships; the families they created, the love they found, the love they shared.”

“I love the idea of tradition and ceremony. I’ve had a lot in my life, so the idea of creating that — I can’t think of anything better,” he said without any indication of the special woman in his life.
Evans and the Portuguese actress made their relationship official on Instagram in January.
“Looking back at 2022 ❤️❤️❤️,” he wrote on the video he shared on his Instagram Story at the time. In the video, the two were laughing as they sweetly joked while doing laundry.
For Valentine’s Day, Baptista made another cameo on his Instagram Story when Evans revealed to his followers that he taught her all about Super Mario Bros. 3. “She hates this video but I LOVE it,” he captioned a video of her playing the classic Nintendo game.

On Monday, a source told PEOPLE that things “got serious very quickly” after they met in Europe. – He kept saying that he knew she was the one.
“He’s been ready to settle down for a while now,” the source said. “He can’t wait to have a family. He was just waiting for the right girl.”
“She is beautiful, smart and just a good person,” the source added. “She’s involved in charities and really cares about doing good. The best news is that they’re married.”
