ASAP Rocky is reportedly being sued for alleged defamation by ASAP Relli, a former colleague from the hip-hop collective ASAP Mob. According to Rolling Stone, the lawsuit is based on statements made by Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, after he was accused and sued for allegedly shooting Relli in 2021. Rocky has pleaded not guilty to two counts of assault, but now ASAP Relli claims Rocky’s team defamed him in the media and claims it has affected his brand, reputation and community status. ASAP Rocky has yet to speak publicly about the defamation lawsuit. It comes just weeks after he and Rihanna welcomed their second child together.
