Chris Hemsworth Demonstrates ‘How Babies Are Made in Australia’ in Valentine’s Day Video with Elsa Pataky

Chris Hemsworth tells fans a cheeky secret.

On Wednesday, the Avengers star (40) posted a slow-motion video of his wife Elsa Pataky (47) swimming underwater. Hemsworth, originally from Australia, then swims up from behind and grabs her in an intimate hug as Enya’s 2000 hit “Only Time” plays.

“Happy Valentine’s Day,” Hemsworth captioned the video. “This year I thought I’d share with you how babies are made in Australia. It is also a game of passion, love and intense sportsmanship [everyone’s] winner. ❤️💋 @elsapataky”

Hemsworth and Pataky – who have been married since 2010, the same year they met – often post photos together on social media.

In January, the actress and model shared pictures from a family vacation in Asia featuring their daughter India Rose (11) and 9-year-old twins Tristan and Sasha.

“Last week of our summer summer holidays!! Japan is always fun,” she wrote.

Earlier that month, they went on a New Year’s Eve skiing trip, joined by Matt Damon.

In 2022, Pataky spoke to PEOPLE about how Hemsworth helped her prepare for her Netflix action film interceptor, on which her husband was a producer. (He also had a small cameo.)

“He was just there [offer] all kinds of advice. Of course, he is a professional action movie star. So it was great to have him holding my hand,” she said.

During some of her fight scenes, Hemsworth weighed in and gave his wife advice.

“He knows exactly how to hit,” she said, adding that she sometimes cringed at his suggestions. “We are very competitive. [I was like] ‘Okay, I know what I’m doing.’ But in this case he knows more.”

Hemsworth said Ella 2015 that they hit it off from the start after his agent set them up. “From the first time we met, we just made sense. She’s fun. She is sociable, has a sense of humor and a passionate attitude towards life, which is nice to try to keep up with that,” he said.

He added that the Patakys and their children help keep his immense fame in perspective.

“I can say that [my family] he must have kept my feet firmly on the ground — I managed to bypass a pile of garbage, traps that I could have fallen into,” he told the newspaper. “I got a taste of it when I was younger and on a TV show in Australia, and even then I wasn’t too interested.”
