Chris Hemsworth is in the land of ice and snow!
The Thor: Ragnarok The 40-year-old actor shared a great shirtless photo from his recent vacation on Thursday. “Loving Japan ❤️,” was the short and sweet caption of his Instagram carousel documenting his family’s travels.
In the photo, Hemsworth was standing outdoors with snow up to his calves, wearing only black underpants and a dark red cap. As he looked into the distance, he sipped from the cup.

Through a collection of family photos, the Australian-born actor posed with his wife Elsa Pataky, whom he married in 2010, and their three children – daughter India Rose (11) and twins Sasha and Tristan (9).
His paintings show a group traveling through an airport and children playing in the snow.
Pataky, 47, also shared some of her favorite moments from the trip.

“Last week of our summer holidays!! Japan is always fun 💜,” the Fast and furious 6 – the actress wrote in her post.
Her pictorial review included the group eating copious amounts of cotton candy, Hemsworth enjoying a cold beer, and kids watching oysters being shucked — there was even a smiling local who made for a hilarious photobombing moment with the couple.
Hemsworth and his crew seem to like spending their free time in cooler temperatures.
In September, the Marvel actor shared footage from a father-daughter trip to Iceland with India.

“A little Icelandic adventure with my girlfriend ❤️ 🧊,” he wrote in a gallery of photos of the two posing together, dressed for the weather.
In the photos, the duo climbed glaciers, walked along geological formations and stood on a black sand beach as they took in all that the area had to offer.
Hemsworth previously told PEOPLE that his goal as a father is to teach their children to “extremely appreciate everything.”
“As a kid, we had very little money, and my parents saved for a whole year just to pay for a two-week camping trip,” he said in 2017. “Financially, we’re in a different position, but I want to make sure they know that these things don’t come easy. You have to work for that and you can’t take it for granted.”

Recently, Hemsworth and Pataky shared photos from a ski trip Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso took earlier this year. Their three children joined them on the slopes.
