Bollywood actress Chrisann Pereira was recently released from Sharjah prison in the United Arab Emirates. She was arrested on April 1 after drugs were found in the trophy. Pereira was placed by two people who planned the drug in the trophy that she was carrying. She was asked to travel to Sharjah to audition for a web series. After landing in the United Arab Emirates, she was arrested by the airport authorities. They found Ganja, opium in the trophy.
All investigations were carried out and her family claimed that the actress was framed.
The 27-year-old actress has acted in movies like Sadak 2 and Batla House.
The Mumbai Criminal Branch also arrested two people accused of framing actress Chrisann Pereira.
