Chrishell Stause Tells Marie-Lou Nurk She’s ‘Tired’ of Being A ‘Punching Bag’ in Selling Sunset Season 7 Reunion

Chrishell Stause and Marie-Lou Nurk went head-to-head during the course Selling Sunset season 7 reunion episode.

On Wednesday’s Netflix special hosted by Tan France, Nurk — who was Jason Oppenheim’s girlfriend during Seasons 6 and 7 of the real estate docuseries — made a surprise appearance to talk about her feud with Stause that fans watched unfold. While sitting at a restaurant in Season 7, Nurk told Stause that she thought “there might be feelings left” between Stause and Oppenheim, which Stause disagreed with before abruptly leaving the table.

Stause, 42, doubled down on her original position during the drama-filled reunion.

“I hope you’re both happy wherever you are,” Stause said, adding, “I didn’t want to have any problems with you…I was hoping that when you were hanging out with me and my partner, you’d see that I’m totally in love up to my ears I couldn’t be more in love with your partner, and it’s very hard not to see if you’ve spent five minutes with us. So I really thought we were going to get it.”

Nurk, for her part, claimed she “never criticized” Stause’s love for G Flip, whom the reality star married in a surprise wedding in Las Vegas in May. “I think you are in love with your partner and he is in love with you,” she added.

Was Nurk threatened by Stause during her relationship with Oppenheim? Not really.

“Chrishell was just a subject in front of the cameras. We had an amazing relationship,” she said, referring to her and Oppenheim. “We loved each other so much.”

But Stause was not satisfied with such an answer.

“Do you see what my problem is? I’m your subject for the camera,” she explained. “I get tired of being the subject of people and being a punching bag in front of the cameras. It’s clearly not a fun place to be. I feel like everyone who’s been attacking me this season, that’s why I’ve been so frustrated.”

The two continued to discuss the trivial topic of how much time they had spent together without Oppenheim, but eventually France decided that the show needed to “move on”. “I don’t think we’re going to solve this, not today,” he said.

Nurk and Oppenheim, 46, dated for 10 months before calling it quits in May, though Nurk said she and Oppenheim still text “every now and then.”

During seasons 6 and 7, viewers saw Stause in a happy relationship with G Flip after they confirmed their relationship during the season 5 reunion episode in May 2022. G Flip described their wedding at the time as “probably the best day” of their lives .

Stause hinted at the heated drama to come on the reunion episode while speaking exclusively with PEOPLE earlier in November.

“When the season ends, people are left with a lot of questions, and the job of the reunion is not only to answer those questions, but to understand the current state of things,” Stause explained. “Because sometimes months go by between what we shoot and what you see.”
