Chrishell Stause’s Latex Gown Needed a ‘Little Bit Of Lube’ and Help From G Flip at People’s Choice Awards

Chrishell Stause got an assist on the red carpet from her partner G Flip.

The Selling Sunset The 42-year-old star opted for a bold look for the 2024 People’s Choice Awards, which required on-the-spot styling.

Stause, who is nominated for Reality TV Star of the Year, wore an aubergine gown with a mermaid silhouette by Atsuko Kudo Couture Latex Design. The dress featured a plunging neckline and dramatic train, which her Australian musician love, 30, (who uses the pronouns they/they) arranged on the carpet as Stause posed for photos.

And that’s not the only help Stause needed with her ensemble. She revealed on E!’s livestream on the red carpet that the latex “includes a little lubricant to go into it.”

Stause also took the moment to debut a blunt blunt bob, which is a big transformation from her usual long waves.

G Flip chose an off-white dapper suit with patchwork detailing on the button-down shirt and wide-leg trousers. They completed the look with Dr. boots. Martens Jadon, sunglasses and chain necklaces by Sterling Forever and Nissa Jewelry.

In May 2023, the couple got married in a wedding chapel in Las Vegas. The estate agent wore a pearly white floor-length Gemeli Power dress, while the “Worst Person Alive” artist wore a suit by Melbourne designer E Nolan.

“There was a very small group there with us and some friends and family watching the live stream,” Stause told PEOPLE.

The couple later revealed that Stause had her wedding vows tattooed on her chest, while G Flip had them inked on his arm. The couple said the tattoos refer to the night they met at a Halloween party, where they were both dressed as skeletons.

When asked about her new life, Stause said of her partner: “Only the best. They’re my best friends. We have so much fun. I’m so happy. They help me train all night. So amazing.”

Chrishell Stause and G-Flip share sweet PDA as they make out on the red carpet at the G’Day USA Arts Gala

Earlier this month, the two appeared at the G’Day USA Gala in Los Angeles, walking the red carpet hand-in-hand and sharing some sweet PDA for all to see.

G Flip, who was dressed in a smart black suit with a bandeau top and sunglasses, kissed Stause inside the gala, while Selling Sunset the star laughed and played along with her partner. Stause was glammed up for the big event in a light pink sequined dress with a single rosette around the neck. She carried a matching handbag to complete her look.

Ahead of the gala, G-Flip raved about Stause on the carpet for PEOPLE, saying Stause was “running around looking beautiful.”

“We adore each other,” they say about their relationship. “We are having a lot of fun and are excited about our future. We are so cute together.”
