Chrissy Teigen Recalls John Legend’s Awkward Reaction After Inviting Summer House’s Carl Radke on Their Private Plane

John Legend and Carl Radke’s first meeting got off to a rough start.

The Chrissy and Dave have dinner out co-hosts Chrissy Teigen and David Chang joined Andy Cohen for an interview on his SiriusXM radio show, Andy Cohen Live, Thursday. During the conversation, Teigen (38) revealed to Cohen (55) that her husband had an unpleasant relationship with Radka.

The Bravo-obsessed model explained that she and Legend, 45, were at the Sundance Film Festival when they ran into Summer house star, 38. Teigen and the Bravo star started talking, and the model invited the TV personality on the couple’s flight to New York — without telling Legend.

Teigen admitted that she’s “at a point with the Bravo stars right now” where she “thinks they’re ‘friends.’

“I’ve never met Carl. I’ve never spoken to him,” the model admitted. “But we met, I mean, Diversity thing in the cabin, and, in my opinion, he had a really complicated flight back to New York.”

“It’s not,” she jokingly confirmed. “It was like Delta first class direct, but I said, ‘You should come with us,’ and yes.”

For Cohen, she recalled that she then sent Radke a direct message on Instagram and informed him that someone would arrange a flight for him.

Teigen shared that when Radke arrived on their plane, Legend wasn’t too thrilled. “It was actually really funny because John was already sitting down and then Carl came in and John was still sitting down, like, he didn’t jump up to give him a big hug or anything,” Teigen began.

“And then Carl so kindly came. He said, ‘Hey man, I just want to say thank you so much. I love you.’ It was so sweet, and John could see, for a moment, that John was a bit like…”

Cohen quickly interjected to note that everyone agreed that Carl was a catch, “Right…Carl has tight pants…and he’s tall.”

“Yeah, she’s wearing tight pants and she looks great,” Teigen admitted. “He’s tough and has a really wonderful personality like you said. He just seems like a fun, cool guy.”

Teigen shared with Cohen that she hoped that while Radke was on the plane, she would get some information about what’s to come in the upcoming season. Summer house. She hinted that she wanted to know about Radke’s recent breakup with co-star and ex-fiancée Lindsay Hubbard, but he had slept during the flight.

“He passed out immediately and I had so many questions,” she said.

Cohen quickly asked, “Wow, so you never got his side of the story?”

“No, I hear it’s playing. He’s good at maintaining secrecy,” concluded the Bravo superfan.
