Southern Charm’s Taylor Ann Green Regrets Sending Revenge Nude ‘a Million Times Over’ amid Jealousy ‘Spiral’

Taylor Ann Green bared all when it came to discussing how she felt about her actions Southern charm season 9 with Nick Viall.

Green, 29, received backlash on the show for sending a nude photo to co-star Whitney Sudler-Smith in the wake of her painful split from Shep Rose. In Thursday’s episode Viall files podcast, Green explained how that situation unfolded.

“It was a really drunken night,” Green told Viall, 43. “It was like two in the morning. My friend and I were out for Halloween so I sent a picture of the two of us and I said, ‘What are you going to do?’ And then I found out that he and Shep were, like, wandering around town bringing women back to Miss Patricia’s house.”

After hearing that, “my little self decides to send what I say in quotation marks like ‘very non-explicit naked,'” the reality star continued. “It wasn’t directly like, ‘Here’s my whole body, come get it.’ That wasn’t it at all. It was very non-explicit. The next day I was like what the hell did I just do?’ ”

Green even doubted whether she was the person in the photo.

“I thought, ‘Who is that?'” she recalled of her conversation with Sudler-Smith, 55. “He said, ‘I don’t know, I thought it was you.’ I said, ‘No, that’s not me.’ You can’t see anything, but Craig [Conover] actually said that. He said: ‘You can literally see nothing, it’s very dark.’ So we had to talk about it then, because that’s what we have to do.”

A Day Chaser brand representative said it was “really unfortunate” that it was Southern charm the actors talked about the photo in front of the camera and admitted that it was difficult for her to look back on the season.

“Watching myself spin, while my close friends and my family are just like, ‘I never liked her… this is not the Taylor we know. I’ve never seen you act like that,'” Green said, sharing that her “jaw dropped” as each new episode aired

She also admitted that sending the nude photo was motivated by a desire to take revenge on 44-year-old Rose, from whom she split in the summer of 2022 after more than two years together.

“It was easy because I was going to get Shep,” Green told Viall. “I’ve just heard things about them. That’s my toxic side. I regret it a million times over.”

Green and Rose have since struck up a friendship. “We are very good friends,” she said.

Green also confirmed the identity of her new boyfriend, Gaston, whom she has been dating for about five months and met through southern hospitalityis TJ Dinch.

“We’re definitely still learning about someone’s quirks, but I just love how he just listens to me for the longest time,” Green told the former Bachelor. “And then I finally said, ‘Do you have an answer? Like, or you don’t care?’ And he said, ‘Oh, I’ve got a lot to say, I’m just listening because I’m letting you get all these things out there.’ ”

Green appreciated that her boyfriend talks to her as a “friend” and a “mate.”

“I said, ‘I really appreciate you,'” she said. “Like, you actually care about me, you don’t just listen to your girlfriend. Like, you’re listening, but you have something to say, but you’re trying to respect my space of openness. So that’s what I think I love most about him.”

When asked, Green confirmed that Gaston leaves her happier in bed than Rose.

“He is a great lover,” she said. “Yes, very happy.”
