Christie Brinkley ‘Remains Open’ to Meeting Someone but Is Fine with Her Life ‘the Way It Is’ (Exclusive)

Christie Brinkley isn’t closing any doors as she approaches her 70th birthday, and that includes meeting someone.

While speaking with PEOPLE ahead of the milestone, the supermodel and entrepreneur said she’s “open” to a relationship, but there’s a challenge: “There doesn’t seem to be anyone,” she says.

However, the lack of opportunities does not disappoint her. “At the same time,” she says, “I’m pretty happy with my life as it is, so, que será, será!”

She adds: “I’ve always said my whole life that I think you have to be happy on your own in order to be with a man for the right reasons, not hold on to him because you need to, you know?”

From running her own certified organic, sugar-free sparkling wine, Bellissimo, to working with Xcel Brands Inc., Brinkley has plenty to focus on right now. for the spring launch of the lifestyle and clothing brand TWRHLL and its partnership with RYZE adaptogenic mushrooms, for which she is the brand ambassador.

But her busy work schedule doesn’t stop her from completing her list. Floating on top: the journey. “I still have to see India. I’ve never been to Tahiti or Thailand. I want to go to Bali too. I have to eat, pray, love,” says Brinkley.

Brinkley also hopes to take Italian lessons. “I love Italy and I want to speak better,” she says.

And the star wants to give back in a big way. “If TWRHLL becomes very successful, I would love to be able to do the things that very successful people do with their money in terms of giving back. At 70, you kind of say, ‘What can I do to help others?'”
