The Grammy winner shared a look at what fans can expect from her upcoming Las Vegas residency
The countdown to Christina Aguilera’s Las Vegas residency has begun.
The singer (42) posted a short video on Instagram on Wednesday from a rehearsal for her upcoming residency in Las Vegas.
Through the short video, she sings “Guy What Takes His Time” from Burlesque, the 2010 film she made with Cher.
As Aguilera rehearses the sultry movie musical, she’s filmed marking a few dance moves before singing the song. The singer graces the camera with a few of her iconic vocal moves as the video ends.

The actress belted out the fan favorite while wearing a pair of black leather thigh-high boots, a black jersey dress shirt and a black satin baseball cap, with a pair of large black sunglasses.
“10 days until the day of the exhibition 🎤”, wrote Aguilera in the title of the post.
On Saturday, the “Genie in a Bottle” singer shared a carousel on Instagram teasing the premiere. In a series of photos, Aguilera posed on a sky-inspired stage in a variety of metallic outfits.
“Two weeks until the premiere 💎,” she captioned the post.
Aguilera will perform at the Voltaire Belle de Nuit at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas beginning December 30.

When the “Dirrty” singer announced the residency in October, she shared a glimpse of what’s to come by showing off a new blonde hairdo.
“Immerse yourself in the fusion of art and music 💎”, she wrote on Instagram.
“I’m bringing an intimate, seductive and sophisticated new show to Las Vegas,” Aguilera continued. “@voltairelv will allow me to get up close and personal with YOU for a truly modern twist on the performance experience.”

The Burlesque the star will reportedly be the executive producer of the stage musical adaptation of the film.
Entertainment Weekly reported in late September that the stage adaptation would be written by Steven Antin, who wrote and directed the film. The stage version will reportedly include songs written for the film by Aguilera, Sia and Diane Warren, as well as new songs by Todrick Hall.
The production is expected to premiere in the UK in the future, EW reports.
