Christina Aguilera is channeling her inner rock girl!

The singer, 42, wore a sharp leather look as she arrived for the shoot Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday. She also showed off her new short, choppy hairstyle that she debuted last week.

Aguilera looked super cool in an oversized black leather jacket and a pair of matching leather thigh-high boots. The “Dirrty” singer injected a pop of color with a red lip print mini skirt by Diesel and accessorized with Saint Laurent sunglasses and silver jewelry.

The singer later swapped her leather look for a black plunging bodysuit with shoulder pads and disco leggings as she chatted with host Jimmy Kimmel on the show.

During her interview, Aguilera talked about her Las Vegas residency, which begins Dec. 30 at the Voltaire Belle de Nuit venue at the Venetian Resort.

“It’s such a creative experience for me, unlike anything I’ve ever done,” the star told the host. “Because it is so special, exclusive [show]only about 1,000 seats per night and I won’t go until midnight.”

The singer added that the performance will be “very seductive and mysterious and super interactive with the audience.”

“I’ve never been so up close and personal [with the audience],” she said.

The “Can’t Hold Us Down” star will join Kylie Minogue as one of the first artists to perform at Voiltaire. Minogue, 55, begins her Vegas run there on November 3.

Meanwhile, Aguilera – who shares son Max Liron with ex-husband Jordan Bratman and daughter Summer Rain with fiance Matt Rutler – also told Kimmel that she and Rutler are taking the spooky season “very seriously”.

“This is my favorite time of the year, almost like New Year’s for me,” she said, adding that she decorates her house for Halloween in September. “It’s not a joke. There’s a lot going on and everything has a theme.”
