RHOSLC Midseason Trailer Teases a ‘Complete Betrayal,’ a ‘Threat’ and a ‘Tornado’ of Karma (Exclusive)

The nastiness and rumors are nowhere near over The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

In fact, the Bravo franchise’s midseason trailer — debuting exclusively with PEOPLE — proves that women are just getting started. Viewers have already seen feuds and rumors spread throughout season four, particularly during the explosive getaway to Palm Springs.

Later this season, the Housewives will head to another tropical location to celebrate Monica Garcia’s birthday. However, according to the mid-season trailer, the celebratory occasion seemingly turns sour as Heather Gay says of the island, “Supposedly it’s not hard to get here, it’s hard to leave.”

Monica is then seen rushing to the toilet in tears, with Lisa Barlow following her and asking: “Why would you do that to you?”

While viewers will have to wait to find out the source of the tears, elsewhere in the trailer, Heather, 49, tells Meredith Marks that she recently received “devastating” information and later accuses Meredith of “total betrayal.”

The Bad Mormon the author adds, “Tonight happened because of what you said to Monica.”

Meredith, 51, has already found herself at the center of controversy this season: She was criticized by Whitney Rose and Lisa, 48, for rehashing old, toxic behaviors, and was accused of spreading rumors about Angie Katsanevas’ husband, Shawn, at the end of episode 5.

Although Meredith has vehemently denied the allegations, she threatens in the video, “It gets to the point where you get accused of something over and over and over again, you can do it.”

The trailer also teases a feud between Whitney, 36, and Heather, with Whitney claiming that Heather “exploited her sexuality” in Bad Mormon. Heather replies, “Do you understand what you’re saying? Because you sound like an idiot.”

Angie also pokes fun at Whitney’s comments, saying in a mocking voice, “How dare you write about my sexuality,” as she pulls her red crochet dress up her leg, prompting laughter from the cast. She was later seen throwing a glass on the ground in frustration at a cast reunion.

And amid all the chaos in the trailer, Monica gets a stark warning from former full-time housewife and current friend of the franchise, Mary Cosby: “Don’t trust anyone.”

But in between the screaming, glass-throwing, and tears, the second half of Season 4 still includes the light-hearted fun and quick-fire anecdotes that fans have come to know and love from Housewives.

In one instance, Heather jokingly sings, “I just want Lisa to love me,” as the Vida Tequila founder giggles alongside her. Whitney also falls as the ladies go cross-country skiing.

During another scene, in which the women attend a sound bath, Lisa tells Monica that she wants to enjoy the experience, to which Monica quips, “Yeah, go ahead. Old people need that.”
