Christina Hall is feeling grateful.
Sharing a post on her Instagram on Wednesday, September 4, the HGTV star revealed that she’s glad her parents, Paul and Laurie Haack, taught her the importance of making her own money.
“Thank you mom and dad for always teaching me about hard work and making sure I know the importance of earning my own money,” she captioned a selfie with a smiley face.
In the Instagram snap she shared amid her divorce from Josh Hall after nearly three years of marriage, Christina, 41, looked happy and relaxed as she sported a pair of sunglasses and parted her hair in the middle.
She continued about money, “It doesn’t buy ‘happiness’ but it does buy more opportunities and less people to mess with me… and that makes me happy ❤️😉.”

The real estate investor’s new post comes after she shared a snap of herself after getting her hair and make-up done.
In a joint Instagram post shared with makeup artist Julia Gonzales, Christina on the Coast the star smiled brightly before tossing her hair back.
“Confidence and carefree – because when the glamor is on, so is the energy 💫 @thechristinahall @juliagonzales_beauty,” Gonzales’ caption read.
Meanwhile, Christina’s husband Josh (43) filed for divorce back in July. In documents obtained by PEOPLE on July 16, Josh filed the previous day, citing “irreconcilable differences” and seeking spousal support.
The mother of three – who shares son Hudson, 4, with ex-husband Ant Anstead, plus daughter Taylor Reese, 13, and son Brayden James, 9, with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa – then responded by filing on July 24 and demanding that none the party does not receive spousal support.

Christina Hall tagged ex Ant Anstead in an Instagram video of their son enjoying his father’s favorite pastime
The following month, Christina shared photos on her Instagram Stories showing her and her kids heading out on a summer getaway, captioning one image, “We’re off on an adventure.”
The star then shared a snap of herself standing by the door with the caption: “When traveling alone with 4 kids at LAX this is the only way to get @reserveps stress free.”
“Snacks on snacks and a cocktail for mom,” she wrote in her caption alongside a clip of a kitchen full of snacks and drinks. Then, over a video of the interior of the car driving her to the plane, she added: “Coming in hot…”
Clips from Christina’s Instagram Stories then ended with her and her travel group – including her three children and another little girl – boarding their plane.
