Christine Baumgartner Is ‘Happy’ with Boyfriend Josh Connor: 'He Gives Her a Lot of Attention' (Exclusive Source)

Christine Costner is “very happy” with boyfriend Josh Connor after her divorce from Kevin Costner.

Connor “gives her a lot of attention,” a source told PEOPLE.

“Josh is great for” Baumgartner, 50, a source says of the financier, a longtime friend and former neighbor of Kevin and Christine in Santa Barbara, Calif., whose divorce was finalized in February.

Connor and Baumgartner “spend time together as a blended family,” the source added. He “is around a lot and gives her attention. She’s happy to spend a lot of time with Josh. He’s more of an ideal partner for her.”

PEOPLE exclusively reported that Baumgartner had been dating Connor for months in January, when a friend of Baumgartner said the two had been seeing each other “since she broke up with Kevin.” The exes divorced in September 2023 after months of legal battles.

The financier “was just a friend at first”, they added at the time. “She loves hanging out with him. He’s a divorced dad and understands what she’s going through.”

Baumgartner’s separation from Horizon The director-star began on May 1, 2023, when she filed for divorce, citing April 11 as the separation date. The former couple, who married in 2004, have three children: Cayden, 17, Hayes, 15, and Grace, 13.

During an August 2023 child support hearing in her contentious divorce from the Oscar winner, Baumgartner’s legal team dismissed rumors of a romance between her and Connor. At the time, they stated that he was a friend and “nothing more than that”.

Baumgartner and her new beau were first spotted spending time together in Hawaii during their July 2023 getaway. And earlier this month, they were seen holding hands as they strolled together in Santa Barbara.
