Cindy Crawford Shares Sweet Throwback Pic for 26th Anniversary with Rande Gerber: 'I Love Our Life'

Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber are celebrating 26 years of marriage.

The 58-year-old supermodel took to Instagram on Wednesday, May 29 to share a heartfelt tribute — and a sweet throwback photo — in honor of their anniversary.

“You know you’ve been married a long time and the photos from the early years look like they came out of a time capsule!” Crawford began with the inscription. In the photo, the model is sitting on Gerber’s lap, and the couple is all smiles while being given a cake. Crawford has her hair styled into her signature hairdo and is wearing a light pink knit sweater. She continued in the caption: “Happy 26th anniversary @randegerber! So proud of us and everything we’ve been through together. I love our life and have my best friend by my side – more laughs, more love ❤️”

For the couple’s milestone 25-year anniversary in 2023, Crawford shared a series of photos from their 1998 wedding.

The photo tribute on Instagram included shots of the newlyweds smiling, cutting the wedding cake, dancing on the beach and an aerial shot of the bride and groom surrounded by their wedding guests. The final image shows their silhouettes dancing barefoot, the Casamigosa founder in an unbuttoned white shirt and Crawford in a white Galliano lace minidress, accessorized with a Valentino scarf.

“25 years ago today, Rande and I were married at the Ocean Club in the Bahamas,” the supermodel wrote in the caption. “It was a perfect wedding captured by @arthurelgort. We had a wonderful weekend surrounded by family and friends celebrating our love for each other.”

“I also want to acknowledge that even with all the blessings, life is full of ups and downs and challenges,” Crawford continued. “I’m proud of how we navigated life together — looking for strength and comfort in each other. You were my best friend and my rock and I can’t imagine life without you.”

“Happy anniversary @randegerber!”

The couple married in 1998 at the Ocean Club in Nassau, where the Baha Men, who were a popular local band at the time, were performing. The group won a Grammy Award for their 2000 song “Who Let the Dogs Out.” The private beach wedding was attended by about 90 guests and was served with seafood, pasta and roast beef and “Cindy’s Favorite”, a three-layer carrot cake. The event was immortalized by famous fashion photographer Arthur Elgort (father of Ansel Elgort).

In May 2024, the Meaningful Beauty founder told PEOPLE the two main ways she and Gerber maintain a happy and healthy marriage.

“First of all, Rande and I were friends first. We definitely had chemistry, but we had a friendship, and I think that’s a great foundation to build a marriage on because even when you’re going through stressful times, the way you treat a good friend is with respect, understanding and compassion,” she explained. “I feel like it’s helped us weather 25 years and some storms.”

Second: “We don’t fight ugly. I think sometimes people say things in the heat of the moment that are hard to take back, and we don’t really do that,” Crawford added. “We’re just trying to fight about what we’re fighting about, not killing each other’s characters.”
