Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez put things aside to make an appearance at a family milestone.
Affleck, 51, and Lopez, 54, were seen together in Los Angeles on Thursday, May 30, attending his daughter Violet’s high school graduation. Affleck shares Violet, 18, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, along with Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.
Affleck wore a suit and carried a basket of pink wrapping paper as Lopez, wearing sunglasses, walked by his side. His mother, Chris Anne Boldt, was walking behind the couple on the street.

Thursday’s appearance marks the first time Affleck and Lopez have been seen together since May 19, when the pair were photographed together outside the Aero Theater in Santa Monica, California.
They lived separately in Los Angeles while experiencing marital strain, sources told PEOPLE. She has been busy preparing for her concert tour and promoting her Netflix movie Satin, while Affleck was filming for Accountant 2.

A source recently told PEOPLE that the couple is “still living apart” even after Lopez returned to LA to rehearse for her tour, which kicks off in Orlando on June 26. That source added that Lopez is “very focused on work.”

Garner, 52, took to Instagram on May 20 to share photos of herself in tears as she attended Violeta’s Class of 2024 valedictorian ceremony before graduation.
“Tell me you have a degree without telling me you have a degree. 🎓 (Bless our hearts 🥺♥️🤣),” Garner wrote in the caption.
Lopez and Affleck famously rekindled their relationship from the early 2000s in 2021 and married in 2022. Fraudsters the actress is the mother of 16-year-old twins Max and Emma, with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.
