CLAT 2024 Reservation Criteria Revised
CLAT 2024: Consortium of National Law Universities has introduced a new addition to the reservation category for NLUs. According to the official notification, Tripura National Law University has been included in the domicile reservation category. The official notification said, “For UG and PG programmes, ‘Domicile Reservation’ category has been added. Candidates domiciled in the state of Tripura are eligible to be considered under this reservation category. Eligible candidates can update their details on the CLAT portal.”
Candidates must note that the consortium has also released the reservation category update instructions for the candidates who have selected NLU Tripura. They are also advised to check NLUT, Agartala updated information brochure on its official website.

How to update reservation category in CLAT application form 2024?
The Common Law Entrance Test (CLAT) is scheduled for 3rd December 2023. Candidates must submit the CLAT 2024 application form through the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in by 3rd November 2023. They can go through the steps to update the reservation category by following the below steps:
Step 1: Go to the official website: consortiumofnlus.ac.in
Step 2: Login to CLAT candidate account
Step 3: Click the edit app button
Step 4: Go to the reservation tab under NLUT, Agartala
Step 5: Under National Law University of Tripura (NLUT), Agartala, when asked, Are you a Tripura Domicile?, answer Yes and select the reservation category you wish to request from the drop down menu provided
Step 6: Select the booking category you want to request from the drop down menu provided
Step 7: Click the submit button to save the change
