Coca-Cola Announces a New Permanent Flavor — ‘Spiced’ Soda with Raspberry Notes

Coca-Cola is ready to spice everything up!

The soda brand has announced a new permanent flavor joining their beverage portfolio: Coca-Cola Spiced (which the brand promises isn’t actually spicy).

The new, carbonated drink is the first permanent flavor that the brand has introduced in the last three years.

When it comes to taste, it combines the classic taste of Coca-Cola with “a burst of refreshing raspberry flavors and spicy notes,” according to the release. Coca-Cola Spiced Zero Sugar will also be available to customers.

The new drink will be on national retail shelves from February 19. Coca-Cola Spiced is available in a variety of cans and bottles, including a sleek 12-ounce can, 12-ounce twelve-pack, ten-pack mini cans, 2-liter bottles, and more. Customers can also purchase Coca-Cola Spiced Zero Sugar in a sleek 12-ounce can, 12-ounce twelve-pack and 20-ounce bottles.

In the fall, Coca-Cola announced another flavor innovation: Coca-Cola Y3000 Zero Sugar — co-created by humans and artificial intelligence (AI).

Combining global fan input and AI insights, Coca‑Cola created the flavor by measuring “how fans envision the future through emotions, aspirations, colors, flavors and more,” according to a press release.
