Colby Richards, a Woodlands resident, has been missing since early Friday morning. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has finished their search. Texas EquuSearch, based near Dickinson, is in contact with the family to discuss how to continue the search over the weekend. Richards’ wife, Callie, reported him missing Friday and the sheriff’s office began a search for him. Sheriff’s Lt. Scott Spencer said Wednesday there is no “viable” information to suggest Richards was in the woods near his Musgrove Place home, which is in the Woodlands Alden Bridge community south of FM 1488 and west Texas 242.
Colby Richards reported missing
The Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Rangers and Montgomery County Hunt and Rescue are just a few of the organizations the Montgomery Sheriff’s Office has partnered with to assist in the search for Mr. Richards. In addition to countless other technological tools, we frequently use ground search, drones, ATVs, horses, helicopters, fixed-wing aircraft, and canine units. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating his disappearance, although significant search efforts have been unsuccessful. Richards was wearing a T-shirt, black shorts and gray Under Armor shoes when he was last seen. Richards has blonde hair, blue eyes, and is 6 feet 3 inches tall. He also weighs 195 pounds.
Allison Fox, who is Richard’s cousin and represents the family, said her relatives are still coordinating the search for volunteers. To share updates on the search, the family created a Facebook page called Help Us Find Colby Richards. On Wednesday, the family urged anyone who has seen Richards to call 911 instead of contacting him. When his wife woke up Friday morning to find Richards was not home, Fox said Richards was getting ready to go to work. Callie Richards realized the door was open after checking the yard, which was strange considering the couple had small children and pets.
Fox stated: Fox said Richards’ water bottle was found at the track entrance, but he did not leave behind his keys or cell phone. Richards, a former baseball player and part-time private baseball coach, was known for his meditation and walking around him. She stated: According to Fox, the past few days have been difficult as news about the couple and Richards’ kidnapping spread on social media. She claimed that the family is “desperate” to locate him and provide any information they have. Regarding comments on social media that her wife had not been honest with legal authorities, Fox said: “What is frustrating and fuels online speculation is that so little can happen.” We are desperate to find something that will give us more information on where to work as there isn’t much to go on. Therefore, follow the PKB news.
