Tracy is best known for playing Maxine Peacock in the ITV soap from 1995 to 2003.

A year after making her Weatherfield debut, she was awarded Buttock of the Year.

In the soap, Maxine married butcher Ashley Peacock (Steven Arnold) and they had a son named Joshua.

Her run ended when she brutally murdered by Richard Hillman.

The character was hit with a crowbar after returning home from the pub.

Years earlier, Maxine arrived on the cobbles as a friend of Fiona Middleton (Angela Griffin).

But she betrayed her friend by having a one-night stand with Fiona’s boyfriend – Steve MacDonald.

She also ended up having the child at the local doctor – despite being married to Ashley.
