Kelsea Ballerini Celebrates 'Favorite Human' Chase Stokes' Birthday: 'I Adore You'

Kelsea Ballerini is putting her love for Chase Stokes on display in honor of his birthday.

The singer, 31, took to Instagram on Monday, September 16, to share a carousel post of herself Foreign banks star boy, who turned 32 that day.

“This is my favorite human birthday and there is no one on the planet that is easier to celebrate. I adore you with all my heart @hichasestokes 🤍,” she captioned the post.

The pictures Ballerini shared included shots of her jumping into Stokes’ arms, him blowing her a kiss, the couple embracing, Stokes with her dog, Milo, and Ballerini’s dog, Dibs, the happy couple kissing, and even a video of Stokes receiving what looks like a parking ticket.

Stokes responded to the post in the comments, writing: “Bahahaha car seat video. Love you Ballerini ❤️.”

Since first sparking dating rumors after Stokes posted a cuddly photo of himself and Ballerina in January 2023 at the Georgia vs. TCU game at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., the pair initially teased their relationship in several interviews but eventually walked away public with their romance on the red carpet at the CMT Awards in April 2023.

Before their romance, Ballerini and Morgan Evans were married for nearly five years, with the singer eventually filing for divorce in August 2022.

Stokes was previously linked to his Foreign banks Kosta Madelyn Cline, whom he dated for over a year before announcing their split in November 2021.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Stokes revealed the current state of his relationship with Ballerini, with whom he has been dating for a year and a half.

“We wanted to create a sense of real life here for a little while,” he said of the couple’s decision to establish a joint base in Los Angeles. “When you’re constantly jumping all the time, it’s hard to land. We’re just trying to find a new sense of normalcy.”

Reflecting further on Ballerini’s upcoming opus, Formswhich at times gets personal about their relationship, Stokes noted that the album “was something that inspired me to go deeper into myself, into my art.”

“I want to challenge myself the way she constantly does. I don’t want to just be the guy from Foreign banksand I will never allow myself to do that,” he said.
