Couple claim the ‘lucky’ black cat they rescued helped them win £1,000,000

The black feral cat adopted by a couple 6 months ago after winning the lottery is living a wonderful life.

Andy, 73, and Jessie Pearce, 64, started raising Billy during tough economic times.

After falling into debt in 2018, an Essex couple started fearing who would sell their home – until they won the £1 million lottery.

According to legend, black cats are unlucky, but nothing else but the truth. Today, pet owners are ‘crossing the line’ to satisfy Billy’s craving for special food as he vacations with them at their holiday home in Norwich.

Jessie jokingly asked, “Who is the Rich Jackpot Lottery around us?”

But there’s no doubt she and Andy took advantage of someone’s newfound fame, trying to spend on their own dream vacations and celebrations.

Jessie explains: “We were about to sell our old house, become vagabonds, when Billy showed up.
