Courteney Cox Teases Jennifer Aniston for Keeping So Many Clothes from Friends: 'She's Adorable'

Fashion on Friends it was iconic when the series aired in the 1990s and 2000s — and has remained an icon ever since.

Courteney Cox, who played Monica, may not have appreciated her clothes on the show back then (and honestly doesn’t now either), but she’s quick to admit that her co-star and close friend Jennifer Aniston just I understood.

When Cox appeared on Fashion neurosis podcast on Oct. 22, she told host Bella Freud that she “didn’t like the ’90s clothes” she wore on the show. She admitted that she could have kept anything she wanted from the set, but she just didn’t want to.

“I don’t want to keep the same things,” she said. “I’m bored and I don’t like a lot of things. I don’t have a big closet….If I don’t wear it for a while, it’s gone.”

Jennifer Aniston stole one of Monica’s dresses from the set of ‘Friends’ — and she’s still wearing it!

However, she told Freud that Aniston – who played Rachel – kept not only her wardrobe, but some of Monica’s wardrobe as well.

“She took a lot of Monica’s dresses, and she’ll say, ‘Oh yeah, I wore this Friends.’ And I mean, it looks great on her. She’s got a great figure and she’s adorable,” Cox said. “But I’m like, ‘Why would you take this floral little dress from the prairie Friends?’ But she sticks to everything.”

Proving to everyone that Friends wardrobe is timeless and that she did, in fact, still have the dress, Aniston also reposted a photo from her longtime hairstylist Chris McMillan’s account of her wearing it.
