Courteney Cox's Daughter, Coco, Teases Her for Not Saving '90s Clothes for Her: 'Actually Very Rude'

Coco Arquette isn’t getting any from her mom, Courteney Cox — and she’s making sure her mom knows how she feels about it.

“She actually didn’t save me anything from the ’90s. It’s actually very rude,” said the 20-year-old daughter Friends alum and ex-husband David Arquette jokingly told Refinery29 in a joint interview with her mom. “Everybody’s like, ‘Oh, that outfit.’ No, I don’t have any.”

As Coco spoke in the interview, posted on Instagram on Aug. 12, Cox stood by her side shaking his head slightly in agreement that, no, she unfortunately didn’t keep her iconic outfits from years past for her only daughter.

The mom and daughter also tackled the questions of who is most likely to steal from someone else’s wardrobe (Arquette was quick to answer that it would be her.) and who is more chatty, which was discussed.

Another question they could not agree on: who needs longer to get ready.

Arquette was adamant that Cox, 60, needed more time to get ready, but Scream the actress did not have it.

“Really? I think I’m that fast,” she said.

“You are the slowest person alive,” her daughter replied.

Cox ended the argument with one final rebuttal: “I’m the fastest showerer and I can get ready if I need to.”

Arquette may claim her mom didn’t save “anything” from the ’90s for her, but she did save at least one dress: the purple midi dress she wore for Snake eyes premiered in 1998.

Arquette wore the exact same dress in 2019 – and the mom showed it off on Instagram, captioning it: “I’m not one to keep things, but this was one heck of a buy! 21 years later..”

For the red carpet in 1998, Cox appeared with David (to whom she was not yet married) under her arm. He was dressed in all red from head to toe – a red button-up, red pants, and even a red hat. The ’90s were gone.

Cox’s look was timeless: a black shoulder bag and classic black heels, with just a few pieces of jewelry to accessorize.
