Courtney Stodden Reveals They Had a Miscarriage: 'I Feel Grief in Every Sense of the Word'

“I’m sharing this to shed light on the fact that no matter how early a loss occurs, it’s still a loss,” Stodden wrote on Instagram.

Courtney Stodden is going through a “rollercoaster of emotions” after learning she had a miscarriage.

Stodden, who identifies as non-binary and uses she/they pronouns, issued a warning before breaking the news in a heartfelt Instagram post on Friday.

“This is hard, but I believe it’s important because others experience the exact same thing in silence. I recently found out I suffered an early miscarriage (around 10 weeks); it was a roller coaster of emotions. I feel grief in every sense of the word Stodden wrote.

The Celebrity Big Brother The alum said that although the miscarriage happened early in their pregnancy, it brought a “feeling of loneliness” that “I can’t shake”.

“I’m sharing this to shine a light on the fact that no matter how early a loss occurs, it’s still a loss,” Stodden continued. “I’ve tried to keep this to myself, only a few close relatives and friends know – but I thought it was important to just accept the fact and hopefully find some peace because there is strength in numbers.”

They ended their post with a personal message to their fans.
