Crazy P singer Danielle Moore, 52, dies in ‘tragic and sudden’ circumstances as group shares heartbreaking tribute

The cult singer of the band Crazy P died in “tragic and sudden circumstances”.

The “unbelievable and shocking” death of Danielle Moore was confirmed by the noughties Brit group on Monday.

The 52-year-old, who was best known as the lead vocalist of the electronic group, died on Friday.

The cause of her death has not yet been revealed.

In an Instagram post today, remaining Crazy Pa members Jim Baron, Chris Todd, Tim Davies and Matt Klose paid tribute to their “beautiful” band member and said “our hearts are broken”.

They wrote: “We are devastated to announce the incredible and shocking news that our beautiful Danielle Moore has passed away in sudden and tragic circumstances.

“This happened on Friday afternoon, August 30.

“We cannot believe the news ourselves, and we know it will be the same with all of you.

“She gave us so much and we love her so much. Our hearts are broken.

“It takes time for us to understand that this has happened.

“Danielle lived a life of love, compassion, community and music. She lived the greatest life. We will miss X with all our hearts.”

Fellow musicians and celebrities sent their well wishes after hearing the news.

Founder of Defected Records and Ibiza’s Glitterbox events Simon Dunmore wrote: “This is so incredibly sad to read. Sending lots of love to all Danielle’s friends and family.”

The House Gospel Choir added: “This is such shocking and sad news. Heartbroken for the whole team.

“Rest in perfect peace Danielle.”

Defected Records added: “Really devastated. Sending love to you all.”

Crazy P first formed in 1995 and Manchester-born Danielle joined in the 2000s.
