The dog’s secret snack turned into a multi-hour visit to the hairdresser.
According to SWNS, Heather Hunt recently came home to find cereal strewn all over the floor and on the face of her dog, Crumpet.
After a bit of investigation, Hunt discovered what had happened. Crumpet went into the cereal cabinet after her son left the cabinet open.
“She got into two other boxes of cereal, but the sugar flakes were covered in honey, so they stuck to her fur like tar,” Hunt told SWNS about what Crumpet’s cereal consumption did to her fur.

Hunt said she tried to clean up Crumpet’s mess herself, but the cereal turned out to be harder to remove than she thought.

“I couldn’t get them out. I tried to get them wet, but they just turned to wallpaper glue,” Hunt explained.
With her attempts to clean Crumpet failing, Hunt took the canine to a groomer for what became a lengthy cleaning.

“When I finally decided to take her to the groomers, it took them almost three hours to wash her, get all the grain out and start looking like a dog again,” said the dog’s mom.

“Her and the other two dogs are also always shopping; they can’t leave a bag unattended because they’ll fall right in [it],” she said
Despite the mess and the groomer’s bill, Hunt says he’ll always adore Crumpet.
“I love them to death,” she said of her pups.
