Dakota Johnson Channels Her Madame Web Character at Film’s L.A. Premiere in Sheer Chain Metal Dress

Dakota Johnson knows how to serve up a red carpet look!

At the premiere of the film in Los Angeles Madame Web on Monday, the 34-year-old actress — who plays the lead — channeled her character in a sheer metallic chain dress.

The links in her dress could be compared to an intricate web.

Johnson’s sleeveless spaghetti strap dress sparkled with diamond jewels and featured a plunging neckline. The actress wore nude underwear and black strappy heels underneath.

Further inspiring the clairvoyant look were her red carpet accessories, which she made sure didn’t overshadow her show-stopping gown.

Her silver necklace sat just above her collarbone and included one large diamond pendant.

For her hair, the brunette wore her distinctive bangs. Her nails were also bare, which helped bring the focus back to her outfit.

In the Sony Marvel film, Johnson stars as Cassandra Webb alongside Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O’Connor and Isabela Merced, who all hit the LA premiere red carpet in stunning looks.

The tense thriller follows Webb, “a Manhattan nurse who develops the power to see the future and realizes she can use that insight to change it,” according to the official synopsis. “Forced to confront revelations about her past, she forges relationships with three young women bound by powerful destinies—if they can all survive the deadly present.”

Those three women (who develop Spidey’s powers) are Sweeney’s Julia Cornwall, O’Connor’s Mattie Franklin, and Merced’s Anya Corazon, who try to stop villain Ezekiel Sims (Tahar Rahim) as he tries to stop them from reaching their full potential as heroes.

While promoting the film, Johnson wore a dark color palette, but kept fans on their toes with the texture.

During a London photo call for the film, she wore a cropped black Versace suit, and on Late Night with Seth Meyers last week she wore a sheer black dress by Tom Ford.

Host Saturday night live last month she wore a black Tom Ford jumpsuit with a high collar and a large keyhole neckline.

The Fifty shades of grey The alum completed the chic look with a black belt with a gold buckle, simple gold hoops, several bracelets and a ring from jewelry brand Verdura.

Then, on SNL afterparty, she wore another all-black look – a sheer, shimmering floor-length dress and a cropped jacket.

For the star-studded event, she also wore a black handbag, black heels and plenty of glittering details, including a fine necklace.
