Holly Holly Willoughby Dan Baldwin is behind the project after his company, Hungry Bear, had a huge success that re -launched Gladiators for the BBC.
The TV source said: “Breakers records were an incredibly successful format, which has run for three decades and collected millions of fans of different generations.
“It worked so well because it could contain attempts at the range of courage and impressive sports management to complete Mindboggleng.
“And the spirit of the show remains strong.
“Every day, a tictic generation works on the internet and cascades, so it feels like a non-fame.
“It is also incredibly family -friendly, so it would be ideal for that place on Saturday.
“There are very early days, with a development show, so no channel has not yet been officially attached to any celebrity in the frame as a host.”
Under the legendary host Roy Castle, the original record switches lasted from 1972 to 2001 at the BBC1.
This showed people trying to knock British and world records and presented interviews with champions.
Castle presented himself to the founders of the world records of Guinness and the twin brothers Norris and Rossa McWhirter.

He recorded a dedication to the topic for closing and demolished nine world records.
Castle, a great trumpet, worked on the show until 1993.
He died of lung cancer in September 1994.
He believed that he had received the disease from passive smoking over the years playing trumpet at jazz clubs.
There were also tragedies for McWhirtes, and Rossa killed a temporary IRA striker in 1975.
Singer Bucks Fizz Cheryl Baker joined the show together with Castle from 1987 to 1997, and Kriss Akabusi replaced Castle from 1993 to 1997.
Olympic Linford Christie joined the 1998 show.
He was joined by Sally Gray and Jeremy Edwards in 1999.
He took over Farne Cotton in 2001, but that was canceled that year because of the fall figures.
