Daljeet Singh Kalsi or Daljit Singh Kalsi is an Indian actor, producer and writer who works mainly in the Punjabi film industry. Daljeet Singh Kalsi is a Sikh extremist and alleged pro-Khalistan activist and WPD leader Amritpal Consultant and sponsor of Amritpal Singh. According to some media reports, Karthi served as a link between Amritpal Singh and Pakistan, helping Amritpal spread his Khalistan ideology in the Indian state of Punjab. In March 2023, Karthi was detained by the Punjab police under Section 3(2) of the National Security Act.

Daljeet Singh Kalsi, also known as Sarabjeet Singh Kalsi, was born on Tuesday, August 9, 1983, in Amritsar, Punjab (age 39; as of 2022). His zodiac sign is Leo. He studied at Delhi University. Dajit has wanted to be a film director since he was a child. After graduation, he moved to Mumbai and started his career as a film producer. However, he did not do any projects there and decided to return to Delhi. In Delhi, Karthi worked at the airport for about 4 years. When he was planning to start his own business, he met Jackie Shroff, who suggested that he try his luck in showbiz. Since Daljit was associated with Punjabi singers Mika Singh and Yo Yo Honey Singh for a long time, he decided to work in the Punjabi film industry. He took acting classes at Barry John Acting Studio in Delhi and later started his foray into acting.

He is the director of Punjabi entertainment company All Time Movies Pvt. Daljeet is also a Director of Delhi-based Delport Business Xpress Private Limited and Delfra E-Commerce Solutions Private Limited.

On September 30, 2021, Punjabi actor-turned-activist Sandeep Singh, also known as Deep Sidhu, founded an organization called Waris Punjab De (Punjab Heirs). The main objective of the organization is “to protect and fight for the rights of Punjabis and to raise social issues”. At that time, Daljit Singh Kalsi was close to Deep Sidhu and associated with the organization. After Deep Sidhu died in a road accident, Amritpal Singh was appointed chief of Waris Punjab De. Many believe that Karthi was behind the dubious appointment of Amrit Pal as Mukh Sevadar of Waris Punjab. Since then, he has been working as a consultant and financier for Amritpal.

According to some media reports, Karsi was involved in a plot to destroy the Ajnala police station; on February 23, 2023, Khalistani sympathizer Amritpal Singh and his supporters held Rifles, pistols, swords and various hand-held weapons stormed the Ajnala police station to protest against the arrest of Amritpal’s aide Lovepreet Singh Toofan.

Some media sources also claimed that Daljit Singh Karthi was in active contact with Pakistan through his Consulate General in Vancouver, Canada, and submitted a memorandum against India to the Consulate General of Pakistan. He has also established multiple links with Pakistan through Dubai. On March 18, 2023, the Punjab police launched a large-scale crackdown on Waris Punjab De Chief Amritpal Singh and arrested Amritpal Singh’s close aide Daljeet Singh Kalsi. Daljit was charged with violating Section 3(2) of the National Security Act. According to the investigating agency, Daljeet Singh Kalsi’s account had been deposited with approximately Rs. Funding from abroad amounted to Rs 350 million in the past two years. The agency also reviewed about two dozen cell phone numbers from Pakistan that were dialed or received on Karsi’s phone.
