Damning proof Iran supplied weapons including thermobaric grenades to Hamas fighters who carried out Israel’s 9/11

Yesterday, The Sun was shown GORGEOUS evidence that Hamas terrorist leaders who orchestrated Israel’s 9/11 used a devastating Iranian-supplied weapons cache.

We were invited to a secret military base in southern Israel and shown the gruesome firepower used in the October 7 rampage that killed 1,400 Jews.

The arsenal of evil included AK-47s, warheads, hand grenades, mines, improvised explosive devices, timers and “suicide drones”.

The hardline Islamic State, led by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, provided thermobaric grenades that were thrown into homes, incinerating everything inside within seconds.

Israeli troops battling Hamas gunmen also found Iranian-made mortar rockets and mines.

They were laid out on the floor of a huge hangar, but they represented only a fraction of the weapons used in the attack that shocked the world.

A major in Israel’s crack bomb disposal unit, whose face is covered and whose name is withheld for operational reasons, is convinced that Tehran is involved.

Holding one of several thermobaric grenades in his hands, the officer, identified only as Major G, told me: “We brought what you see here from our villages.

“This is not from Gaza.

“Hamas brought all these weapons to Israel on October 7.

“This is a small fraction of what we found in the combat zone, and about 15 percent is Iranian-made.

“These are their mortars, their lighters and their explosives.

“They were made in Iran and brought to the Gaza Strip before being used by Hamas.”

Other missiles, including rocket-propelled grenades recovered from the killing field, were produced in North Korea.

In total, Major G estimates that the terrorist group was armed with 500 rocket-propelled grenades, about 200 IEDs and more than 1,000 AK-47s.

It is believed that they planned the attack for two years and stored weapons in the underground tunnels of Gaza.

Hamas commanders set up bomb-making factories in apartment blocks.

They gathered intelligence, drew maps and held top secret training camps before attacking innocents.

Then they went undetected through the 311-mile long so-called metro in Gaza to the border with Israel.

Then they unleashed their savagery.

Men, women and children were slaughtered in their homes in the following hours.

In addition to those killed, another 3,300 were wounded, and more than 240 hostages were dragged away.

Major G added: “They have been preparing for this for about two years.

“Everything we found was used by Hamas to kill innocent people in our villages like Be-eri, Kfar Aza and Nahal Oz.

“You can put a fuse in this thermobaric grenade and just throw it into the room.

“Hamas terrorists threw this at civilians, in houses in Be-era, Kfar Aza and Nahal Oz.

“It is an explosive device that produces 3,000 degrees Celsius in just one second.

“You just have to throw it in the room and it will burn to ashes.

“They burned women, children and soldiers, I was there.

“I saw it during the first week of the war.

“When Hamas invaded our villages, they came here to stay.

“They brought food, medical equipment and tons of weapons.

“We knew they were preparing for it, we just didn’t believe they were going to do it.”

Sun joined the troops in Gaza and saw first-hand the stockpiles of missiles hidden in civilian neighborhoods.

And we watched as they blew up a shipping container loaded with 20 missiles — each with a range of up to 120 miles.

The Israel Defense Forces are now going from building to building in northern Gaza looking for more.

Last night, the 7th Brigade Combat Team raided properties linked to Hamas terrorist leader Yahya Sinwar and killed 30 of his fighters.

Inside, they found dozens more weapons, missiles, drones, mortars, maps and communication devices.

An IDF spokesman said: “They also located operational and calibration systems for anti-aircraft missiles.

“The systems were located near the rocket launcher that was supposed to hit Israel.”

Intense fighting continues in the heart of Gaza as Israeli troops surround Al Shifa Hospital.

Hamas is believed to have built a command center beneath its wards and operating theaters – using both patients and medics as human shields.

Israeli tanks were approaching from the north and south, supported by airstrikes and artillery shelling.

The terrorist group continued to fire rockets at Israel yesterday, but each was shot down by the Iron Dome air defense system.

Two people were injured in Tel Aviv from falling shrapnel.

Meanwhile, Israel agreed to daily four-hour pauses in fighting to allow Palestinian civilians in northern Gaza to escape south via two humanitarian corridors.

The US has backed the move as a “significant step” – but it is not yet clear when it will start.

Cell phone footage obtained from Palestinian Telegram channels showed the exodus as thousands fled on foot.

Hundreds more foreign nationals are also expected to enter Egypt through the Rafah crossing.
