Dan Finnerty is the lead vocalist of the popular comedy group The Dan Band. His live event was filmed in Los Angeles for Bravo’s hour-long concert program Dan Finnerty & The Dan Band: I Am Woman. In the film Old School, Finnerty rose to fame with his comically profanity-laced version of “Total Eclipse of the Heart” as the wedding singer at Will Ferrell’s wedding.
Todd Phillips directed it, and Dan appeared later as his fame grew. He then appeared in Starsky & Hutch as a bat mitzvah singer and again in The Hangover as a hilarious wedding singer. He was then cast in The Terminal and agreed to executive produce its comedy special. Finnerty then continues to play at “Rock of Ages” in Los Angeles. He has appeared as a comedy correspondent on “The Jay Leno Show” and “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” more than 15 times. “The Dan Band” has three albums behind it: The Dan Band Live, Ho.
