DaniLeigh, also known as Danielle Leigh Curie, a famous singer, was arrested for drunk driving on May 30, 2023. She was charged with three felony counts: fleeing the scene of a crime serious accidents, drunk driving, and damage to property or people. DaniLeigh’s photo also went viral on social media.
She was arrested early this morning after a hit-and-run crash in Miami Beach, Florida. The victim suffered a serious back injury while riding the motorcycle. She was transferred to the prison at 8:16 a.m. and released at 11:45 a.m. on a $9,500 bond, according to the Miami-Dade Correctional & Rehabilitation Agency. However, the artist’s representative declined to comment on the arrest.
DaniLeigh was driving a Mercedes-Benz when it collided with a motorcycle.
According to People, DaniLeigh was arrested Tuesday after witnessing a Mercedes-Benz speeding, then colliding with a motorcycle. According to eyewitnesses, the motorcycle was trailing behind the car and spectators tried to warn her, but the driver didn’t want to stop. The officers were eventually able to stop the vehicle, but a strong smell of alcohol wafted from it and they were able to spot a bottle of tequila. When officers contacted Danielle, she denied hitting anyone and said the name on her driver’s license was Danielle Curiel. The car was eventually towed away.
The 28-year-old man was asked to undergo a sobriety test at the scene and was detained because he did not meet the conditions. According to the results of two alcohol tests, the first had an alcohol content of 0.145 and the second was 0.148.
The motorcyclist suffered a kidney tear and a broken spine and was immediately transported to a medical facility. According to the police report, the motorcycle was badly damaged and the young man’s injuries were not life-threatening.
In 2021, DaniLeigh was arrested for assault.
DaniLeigh was arrested in November 2021 after officers responded to a domestic violence report filed by her father’s child, DaBaby.
