He continued in the footsteps of Dougie Poynter who won the title in 2011.
Now Danny has shared the moment during the program that sent the stars fleeing and seeking refuge in the Bush Telegraph.
As a result of the disastrous weather conditions in Oz that caused buckets of rain to fall on the camp, all 12 stars were forced to flee the camp.
Speaking after his win, Danny spoke of the terrifying incident where everyone was locked indoors.
He said: “It was one of the hardest nights, we were all quite cramped and I think there were 12 of us at the time, all boiling in close proximity.”
He further added to the Mirror that as a result of excessive rain, leeches joined the campers, adding to their misery.
The Voice UK coach went on to post: “The rain also meant the leeches were looking for you and I was literally getting checked for leeches every day.”
Danny’s win comes 13 years after pal Dougie became the first of the McFly boys to brave the camp.
The star revealed the pair had an emotional fight as Danny headed to a hotel after leaving the camp.
He said: “[Dougie] told me something I never thought would come out of his mouth.

He said, ‘mate, I’m so proud of my best friend, and every time I looked at you, I had tears in my eyes.’
Danny beat Coleen Rooney to become the winner of the competition after spending 23 days in the Australian camp.
The percentage of votes for the final revealed that Danny won with 55.21 per cent of the vote, while runner-up Coleen won 44.79 per cent.
The musician is said to be in talks for major new TV roles following his success in The Jungle.
He’s already a judge on The Voice UK, alongside his bandmate Tom Fletcher, but insiders say TV bosses want to sign him up for more gigs.
ITV bosses are keen to secure Danny as one of their main players long-term, alongside family favorites including Joel Dommett and Bradley Walsh.
