DAVE Grohl has admitted to having a secret love child after an affair.
“I recently became the father of a new daughter, born out of wedlock,” the Foo Fighters singer wrote in a statement on Instagram.

“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children and I’m doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” he continued.
“We are grateful for your consideration for all the children involved, as we move forward together.”
The 55-year-old shares three daughters with his wife Jordyn Blum, and their first child, Violet Maye, was born in 2006.
Three years later, Jordyn gave birth to their second child, Harper Willow, named after Dave’s great-uncle Harper Bonebrake.
The couple’s youngest daughter, Ophelia Saint, was born in 2014 shortly after Grohl was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as Nirvana’s drummer.
He famously announced they were expecting at the induction ceremony, posing with his hand on Jordyn’s baby bump at the event.
“I used to tour nine months of the year. Now I don’t like to be away from my kids for more than 12 days,” the hitmaker told Time in 2009 about how important family is to him.
“It changed everything I do. When you have children, you see life through different eyes. You feel love more deeply and maybe you are a little more compassionate,” he added.
“It’s inevitable that it will find its way into your songwriting.”
Roker did not reveal the identity of the newborn’s mother, and his wife, Jordyn, did not respond.

Dave also turned off comments on the post.
US Sun reached out to Dave’s reps, who said they had “no further comment”.
Unlike her husband, Jordyn mostly stayed out of the limelight, working as a model and then as a producer on MTV.
Jordyn also worked with Dave in the music video for the Foo Fighters song White Limo.

She also helped direct the band’s music video for Walking a Line in 2002.
The couple, who married in 2003, first met in a bar in 2001, where things didn’t go their way according to the rock star.
“When I first met my wife, we went on a few dates and I decided I wasn’t ready for a serious relationship, so I just stopped talking,” he shared with Elle.
Despite Dave not reaching out, he ended up doing a 180.
“After three months I had a revelation and he called her back. She picked up the phone and said, ‘Oh, I never thought I’d hear from you again,'” he recalled to the magazine.
Before walking down the aisle with Jordyn, the performer was married to Jennifer Leigh Youngblood from 1994 to 1997.
However, the couple did not have children during their relationship.
No word yet on whether the Foo Fighters will end their tour as they are scheduled to perform in Bridgeport, Connecticut at the Southside Music Festival on September 29.
This comes two years after the death of the band’s drummer, Oliver Taylor Hawkins.
