Dave is a former country artist turned TV presenter. He’s a four-piece band member and an aspiring musician. He was in London at the time. Wilson eventually moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he received a solo contract with Lyric Street Records. Kortney was also signed to the same record label. Both were released by the label in 2003. In 2006, they formed The Wilsons to perform as a duo. They finally have their own show, Meet the Wilsons, which is a half-hour eight-part series directed and edited by Bill Filipiak. Kortney and Dave released an album of the same name in June 2010.
Dave co-hosts the HGTV show “Making it Home with Kortney and Dave” with his current ex-wife Kortney. The first season of the show premiered in January 2020.
