David Beckham shows his love for his wife Victoria by calling out her killer style. While speaking at a Bowers & Wilkins event in New York City on Tuesday (August 27), the former soccer star credited his significant other for inspiring him to try the new look.
“She always gave me that confidence, and she still does, even after 27 years,” said 49-year-old David. “She still gives me that confidence, you know, wanting to look good and wanting to feel good.”
When asked if he influenced his wife’s style, David replied: “I’m not sure. I like to think I am, but I dare say the wrong thing. To be honest, she always looks good. It’s a good problem, but she always looks great , so it’s a pretty easy job for me.”
On the other hand, Victoria takes her work very seriously. “She has a big influence on my style,” continued the soccer legend. – When I put something on, I know by her reaction whether I should take it off or leave it on.

The former spice (50) recently gave David some fashion tips in the gym.
On Saturday, August 24, David posted a photo on Instagram of himself lifting weights shirtless and wearing light blue shorts with a bright orange top tucked into his belt.

In the caption of the post, the retired athlete explained that his fashion designer wife wasn’t a fan of the shirt he chose.
“My wife said it was my orange vest [too] bright so I took it off 🤔🧡🧡,” he wrote. “Rating my workout outfit @victoriabeckham you know you really love it 🧡🧡.”
Victoria joked in the comments section, writing: “Matchy-matchy 🤣 Chic! 😂.”

The couple, who celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on the Fourth of July, are known to playfully poke fun at each other on social media — and sometimes include their children.
On August 8, David shared a video of their family participating in the “Just Give Me My Money” trend, in which people take turns saying “Just give me my money” and are met with applause until the last person to repeat the phrase is met with awkward silence. David, as well as their son Romeo, 21, and daughter Harper, 13, took part before letting Victoria go last.
When no one clapped after her turn, she burst out laughing. “Is that it?” – asked the fashion designer.
David and Victoria also have sons Brooklyn (25) and Cruz (19).
