Dayalan Hemalatha is an Indian cricketer who has represented the Indian national team in many international matches and represented Tamil Nadu in many domestic matches. She signed with the Gujarat Giants for the inaugural season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) in 2023.

Dayalan Hemalatha was born on Thursday, September 29, 1994, in Alwarthirunagar suburb of Chennai, Tamil Nadu (age 28; as of 2022). Her zodiac sign is Libra. As a child, she played cricket with the neighborhood boys, as well as kho kho, volleyball and track and field. She studied at Dr KK Nirmala Girls High School, Chennai. Later, she did her Masters in Human Resource Management from MOP Vaishnav College for Women, Chennai. At the age of 17, she decided to become a professional cricketer and began training under MAC Spin Foundation coach Peter Fernandez. She gradually transformed from an off-spin bowler to an opening batsman.

In the 2022-23 season, she represented India Railways and won the Senior T20 Trophy, Central Zone won the Inter-Zone Trophy and India-D won the Challenger Trophy.
