Death in Paradise star Ralf Little has left fans of the film “devastated” after a surprising behind-the-scenes reveal of the hit BBC drama.

The actor took to Instagram to share a video shot from the backdrop of Season 13, in which he explains how Assistant Inspector Neville Parker, Harry the Lizard, came across the screen and was created using CGI.

Addressing his 170,000 followers, the 43-year-old began: “Let’s get this. We used to make Harry with a silver ball that they used to reflect light. Then they had to CGI for it. him, but now that’s changed, we have more technology, they use a different kind of camera.

“This is what I’m doing,” he continued, panning the camera around to reveal a plastic lizard figurine modeled after Harry. “Here it is,” he added.

Fans of the film were quick to express their shock to learn that Harry was not represented by animal rights. In the comments, one person wrote: “Oh, isn’t Harry real? Harry, we love Harry,” while another added: “You just messed up, I think he’s real.” , along with a string of crying emojis.

While the show has remained tight-lipped about what fans can expect from the plot of season 13, Ralf is hopeful that Neville will eventually find love. “Obviously I can’t give you any details and tell you what’s going on, but everyone wants Neville to have a successful girlfriend, especially me, so we hope hope he can do it in season 13,” he said in a Q&A on Instagram.

A series of spin-off series, Beyond Heaven, will also return for more in the near future as it has been renewed for a second season. Filming for the new series is currently underway in Devon and Cornwall.
