DECLAN RICE has broken his silence after fans noticed a suspicious brown stain on the back of his shorts.
The Gunners edged Porto on penalties this week after a 1-1 aggregate score, with David Raya proving to be the hero of the shootout.

It secured them a place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the first time in 14 years, but fans were furious when the Chelsea legend picked them with Bayern Munich.

A conveniently placed brown mark on the back of his shorts led certain fans to believe he had an “accident” – as Gary Lineker famously did while playing for the Tri Lions at Italia 90.
However, during the latest episode of The Peter Crouch Podcast, former Arsenal and Brighton midfielder Steve Sidwell left Rice a voice message live on the show to ask him to come clean.
And it didn’t take long for Rice to respond and erase the rumors.
His voice message to Sidwell was played on the show, and he said: “I’ve seen it going around and it looks very suspicious.
“That’s because there’s nothing around the shorts except that area.”

Laughing, he then added, “I can confirm there were no skidders, my friend.
“So I’m happy to assume it’s 100 percent mud.

“So, my friend, that’s definitely not it.”
