Deepak Pahal studied till Class 10 and started training as an amateur boxer at the age of 13.

Around 2014, Deepak came in contact with Mohit Panchi, a local criminal associated with Jitender Maan, also known as Gogi. Later, he was also associated with the Gogi gang run by Jitender Gogi and the Lawrence Bishnoi gang run by Lawrence Bishnoi. The Panipat police arrested Gogi in 2016, but within three months of his arrest, he escaped while going to court for a case hearing. Deepak was later arrested for being one of the 10 people who helped Gogi escape. In 2017, Deepak was released on bail but continued his criminal activities. Deepak is said to have handled the illegal business of the Gogi gang and he later became its leader. On March 25, 2021, Deepak led the Gogi organization in a shootout with Delhi Police personnel at GTB Hospital and helped Gogi’s assistant Kuldeep Maan (alias Fazza) escape from police custody; Fazza was killed in the police shootout. According to police, Deepak also collaborated with Canadian gangster Goldy Brar, who was responsible for the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. A police officer in an interview revealed that Deepak was involved in four murder cases after joining Gogi Parole.

Accused of murdering Amit Gupta
On August 23, 2022, Amit Gupta, a hotelier and real estate agent, was killed by Deepak Boxer’s men in the Civil Lines area of Burari in North Delhi. Shot. After months on the run, Deepak posted on Facebook that he was the man who killed Gupta and that the murder was motivated by revenge rather than blackmail. Deepak Boxer further asserted in a Facebook post that the deaths were linked to the gang’s financier Tillu Tajpuria, a known rival of the Gogi gang. According to his post, he was killed in this situation. The social media post further stated that Amit Gupta had informed Gogi gang leader Kuldeep Maan, aka Fazza. Arrested in Mexico
Deepak forged a passport in the name of Ravi Antil from Bareilly, fled India in January 2023 and tried to enter the United States illegally through Mexico. He reportedly planned to carry out his gang’s illegal activities in the United States. Delhi Police revealed that Deepak arrived in Mexico with the help of his cousin Sandeep, who lives in California. Deepak fled first from Kolkata to Dubai and then to Mexico via Almaty, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Spain. The address in the passport is Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh.
A team was formed to search for Deepak under the guidance of Special Commissioner Hargobinder Singh Dhaliwal, popularly known as HGS. When the Delhi police learned that Deepak was in Mexico, they immediately asked the Mexican government to deport him. To ensure that Deepak is deported quickly before any legal challenge from his criminal network, the Indian Embassy in Mexico City is working with the Delhi Police. A team of experienced field officers was also dispatched to Mexico City to coordinate with the embassy, Mexican authorities, police and the FBI.
