After discovering Izuku’s letters to each one explaining why he left, the students of Class 1-A went to Principal Nezu to ask permission to bring Izuku back, even for my hero academy Endeavor, trick him into going to Nezu’s office and have them interrogate Jiu’s whereabouts. Bakugo was the first to find him, and Deku was battling an escaped villain known as the Dictator, and the group helped him defeat the Dictator with ease. They told Deku that they were going to bring him back, but he refused, saying he would fight to avoid returning.
Deku can’t do it all alone
Deku left UA for two reasons: to help pro heroes pull All for One out of hiding, and to prevent UA itself from becoming a target just because he was there. Personally, those reasons are also partly true, but Deku really didn’t think of his own happiness in this decision-making process. After all, using yourself as bait is the most risky proposition at the best of times, but if One for All loses to a bad guy, it’s really game over for the heroes. Deku is too precious to treat himself like this, and his friends are here to help him realize that.
Although Deku has many quirks (and their previous users in my hero academy) at his disposal, he faces 19 of his classmates, which will be a daunting task, even if he hasn’t crossed the line in weeks. After all, his classmates aren’t listless either – including the likes of Tomo and Bakugou, who are at least as skilled as Izuku. Some of Deku’s classmates also have the ability to specifically stop him, and even someone like Mineta can use his Quirk to stop Deku very effectively. Then there’s the complicating factor that neither side really wants to hurt the other here. Deku just wants to continue what he is doing, so his main goal is just to escape from them, while they want him to become one.
