Demi Lovato Celebrates Fiancé Jutes' Birthday: 'Love You Baby'

Demi Lovato is showering her fiance with love — and candy — on his special day!

On Saturday, the singer, 31, shared one of her signature photos on Instagram, which included a few pictures from her fiance Jordan “Jutes” Lutes’ birthday celebrations. The couple celebrated with a homemade cake — apparently baked by Lovato (who uses she/they pronouns) herself — and a special dinner and dessert with the Jutes’ loved ones.

In the first slide of the photo, Lovato held up the homemade confection, a sprinkle-covered cake that read “Happy B-Day Jordan” in blue frosting, and proudly displayed it with a smile and a thumbs up.

Elsewhere in the post – which she wrote “Is that a cake?” — Lovato shared a few pictures of herself and the Jutes at his birthday party.

Both Lovato and their musician boyfriend dressed in all black for the special occasion, wearing baggy, oversized jackets for the birthday dinner.

Jutes also documented the evening with a post, sharing several photos from the dinner with the caption: “Bro I’m still full 🫃.”

The singer of “Punkstar” on his own photo dump showed another dessert with which he celebrated his birthday, a plate with chocolate covered strawberries and other sweets decorated with the message “Happy Birthday Utah”.

He also shared a photo of himself in a party hat and a sweet snap of himself sticking a barb into Lovato’s cheek as they sit next to each other.

On the post, Lovato commented referencing her post, writing, “Is that cake?”

Also in the comments section, the “Confident” singer wrote, “I love you baby 🥰,” to which Jutes replied, “I love you too 😘😘.”

Lovato and Jutes have been publicly dating since August 2022, PEOPLE confirmed at the time, with a source revealing that they have a “really happy and healthy relationship” and that Jutes is a “super awesome guy.”

The couple got engaged after a “personal and intimate proposal” on Dec. 16, 2023, Lovato’s rep confirmed to PEOPLE at the time.

Speaking to PEOPLE about the details of their nuptials earlier this month, Lovato said the couple is deep into planning — but feels very “cold” about the often stressful process.

“Right now it’s easy. Let’s get a schedule and look at places. So it’s pretty calm right now,” she said. “We have a little time.”
